It is with deep sorrow that Ringwood & District Anglers’ Association loses one of its’ long time Members - Terry Lampard.

Terry Lampard

Terry passed away on the 5th February, 2013 at the age of 65.

His achievements in the world of specimen fishing are rated by many as the greatest ever.

He won the coveted Drennan Cup no less than seven times – more than any other angler before and a record that surely will take some beating. But more over Terry will be remembered as being a wonderful character and someone who truly epitomised all that is good about fishing.

His easy going manner and his boundless enthusiasm made Terry a pleasure to speak with; and the selfless way he would take time to help others must have led to many a persons’ personal best. However, it was his ability to catch giant fish of all species that remains an inspiration to us all and is, without doubt, his greatest legacy.

We are sure you will join us in wishing everyone who knew him our sincerest condolences.
