A beautiful complex in superb surroundings affording a good family day out, with walks through the nature reserve and woodlands.

There is a tackle shop available on site

Opening Times:

7am to one hour after sunset

Fishing Season: All year

Number of Rods: Maximum of 1 Rods

Special notes:

  1. Whinwhistle Lake (30 swims).
  2. The Rail (15 swims).
  3. Keepers Lake (27 swims).

All swims are platformed.

Dip landing nets prior to fishing.

Car parks 1 and 2 are for use all year round.

Car park 3 is for use between 1st October and the end of February only.

No access to trout lakes or river but members may trout fish following personal arrangements with the owners of the site.

Refreshments, bait and tackle are available on site with cooked breakfast available at weekends.

Members must book in with their permit at the lodge before going onto the fishery.

  • Use method or fixed feeders.
  • Use more than one rod. Use braid, catfood, nuts or boilies.
  • Use keepnets, baitboats or barbed hooks. Take dogs onto fishery.

OVERHEAD POWERLINES CAN KILL SO PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CARE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU FISH NO CLOSER THAN 20M FROM ANY OVERHEAD CABLES
