Description:

A stretch of the Hampshire Avon of approximately 1 mile, both banks (including the side stream).

A fairly open stretch of the Avon offering good Winter Chub fishing and some interesting stalking opportunities in the Summer as a fair amount of the stretch is shallow gravel, fish can be spotted when present.

Top Tip:

Float fish with bread flake in the winter for excellent chub sport. Quality Roach can be caught on feeder fished maggot or bread flake but be prepared for many quiet sessions.

Special Notes:

ALWAYS use adequate and well balanced tackle when targeting or expecting Barbel.

RDAA recommend no less than 6lb line with a suitably strong hook.

Electricity pylons cross this water, please take caution.
