Description:

A stretch of the Dorset Stour of approximately 2 Miles.

This stretch is just below Wimborne and offers a a range of shallow gravel runs and deeper glides.

Excellent Chub venue with good Roach and Dace bagging potential.

A number of small Barbel were introduced a few years ago and are starting to show.

Top Tip:

Float fish clear gravel runs between weed beds for Dace, Chub and small Barbel.

Ideal stalking venue for the Chub specialist with fish expected to top 7lbs.

Special notes:

Parking strictly as per numbers indicated on map.

Do not obstruct farm lanes or gates.

Please do not climb over fences etc. Use the gates provided.

ALWAYS use adequate and well balanced tackle when targeting or expecting Barbel.

RDAA recommend no less than 6lb line with a suitably strong hook.

Electricity pylons cross this water, please take caution.

OVERHEAD POWERLINES CAN KILL SO PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CARE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU FISH NO CLOSER THAN 20M FROM ANY OVERHEAD CABLES
